Solar Manufacturer To Open Facility in Hartford
Tucson, AZ – Schletter Inc. , manufacturer of solar-mounting systems, has announced plans to open a customer service facility in Hartford, Connecticut (US). The new location will house technical sales personnel and a full showroom and training facility. It will also stock commonly used solar-mounting components for distribution.
Although this is a relatively modest expansion for Schletter, the new facility will allow for a substantial improvement in the ease-of-communication between Schletter and its customers with more local representatives available. The company’s planned training facility will offer free North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certified continuing education courses to its customers and allow for hands-on product installation demonstrations.
The Hartford, Connecticut location will be the third Schletter facility in North America. Schletter’s Windsor, Ontario (Canada) location also offers manufacturing capabilities for the complete solar-mounting product line, technical sales, design and engineering and customer-training functions. Schletter’s US headquarters and its highly automated manufacturing capabilities are currently located in Tucson, Arizona (US).
