The Connecticut Science Center presents

Saturday, April 21, 7-9PM, CT Science Center, Hartford
50 States. 1 Year-Zero garbage. That is the goal of three friends, Mark, Ben, and Julie, and they wanted to share their incredible experience with the world in a feature length film. Your Environmental Road Trip (YERT) described as an eco-docu-comedy, is stopping at the Connecticut Science Center for a special screening event. The Connecticut Science Center invites you to join them on the eve of Earth Day 2012, for a special screening of this environmentally-friendly, indie film sensation.
Here's what a few experts have to say about the eco-docu-comedy.
"Here's a trip you'll wish you'd taken, and you'll be glad you get to watch!"
-Bill McKibben, Author and Environmentalist
"A deeply absorbing...hilarious...important film. Audiences will not only cheer, but feel compelled to spring to their feet to join an inspiring movement for change."
-Jeff Biggers, Huffington Post
"Instead of weighing the audience down with pessimistic views of the future, it lifts us up with the infinite sense of possibility, of rebuilding and rethinking our future so it can happen."
-Anwyn Cook, Transition Voice
The cost is $10 per person/$8 per Member. Join them for dinner in the café for environmentally friendly cuisine beginning at 5:30PM. Menu items $6+. (Ages 10 and up. Purchase of dinner is not required.)
